May 15-Sarah’s Coming Home!

Message from Sarah’s parents:

Please keep Sarah in your prayers on May 15.

On that date, she will have another biopsy to determine her progress from treatment.

Our prayer and hope and belief is that she has NO cancer cells present and is officially and completely in remission from leukemia.

We were told it will take about two weeks to get the results.

Currently, Sarah is undergoing her third round of post-transplant chemo, as part of the clinical study her doctor is conducting for patients considered at high risk of relapse.

Even so, she is scheduled to be released from isolation after her biopsy procedure; the remaining chemo rounds will be administered outpatient.

She’s coming home! There have been many positive signs in her recovery, and we are trusting in God’s plan for her.

So please lift up our Tough Cookie in prayer on the 15th.

Our hearts are so thankful for all the many people who have been praying for Sarah, and for the countless miraculous moments that have unfolded since.

Sarah has turned this “mess” into her “message,” and we are proud of her willingness to walk in faith and share her journey with others. Keep praying!
