Hi Sarah, I know your story and wish you well. It seems that even though I am 56 and you are much much younger we have some things in common. I work with your Dad at Lewis University. I live in Plainfield. I have a daughter named Sarah that attended high school in Plainfield. I had leukemia. Yes, I said had. On January 19, 2004 I had a stem cell transplant at Loyola and my brother was my donor. I spent 100 days away from home and visited only occasionally with my husband and 4 children. I know first hand that Loyola has very strict procedures to follow surrounding the transplant and they know what they are doing. You could not be in better care. If you ever want to talk or are up for a visit I would welcome that. If you have any questions, I am happy to help as best I can. They do amazing things these days. You video tells me that your head and heart or ready for the next battle and you’ll do great! I wish you well and will be praying for you.
