100 Days for Sarah

Sarah Wielgos, a 19-year-old nursing student at St. Louis University, was diagnosed with AML leukemia in September 2012.

For 100 days after the bone marrow transplant, the doctors require Sarah to live within 4 miles of Loyola Hospital.

Insurance does not cover all the costs for the 100 days in which Sarah will have to live in a hotel that is specially cleaned, special food made daily for Sarah, and the gas money for her parents to drive her food daily from Plainfield to Maywood.

Thank you in advance for your donation to help the Wielgos family.

UPDATES:

On February 4, 2013, Sarah underwent a bone marrow transplant.

On February 15, 2013, Sarah is officially CANCER FREE when her sister Mary's cells engrafted to Sarah's bone marrow.
